about

anina rubin is a spatial sound composer and media artist. her focus lies in storytelling through spatial sound, vocals, and moving images. she mostly takes her inspirations from nature and spiritual practices. to realize her ideas she uses the newest 3d audio techniques, audio programming languages as well as ai-trained networks.

her spatial audio amisonics sound and film collages and compositions are a melting mix of score, sound poetry, musique concrète, and singer-songwriting. the musical projects are created as fixed media or in symbiosis with experimental filmmaking and/or live performances.

 

2016-22 study of media arts, hfg karlsruhe, germany. master’s degree with honors. seminars with jonathan bepler, michael bielicky, dr. markus noisternig, dr. paul modler, vadim fishkin. part of the research group on artificial intelligence and media philosophy kim (from german: künstliche intelligenz und medienphilosophie) founded  by prof. dr. matteo pasquinelli.

anina is multilingual and enjoys to learn or to experiment with the sounds of ancient languages such as hebrew, arabic, punjabi. her clairvoyant and -audient way of being have been guiding her through various teachings of theosophy as well as schools of meditations such as kabbalah, the vedas and christ-consciousness based practices. she genuinely seeks the contact to starsiblings, light-angels, devas and deities.
